Commendation (1979)

WHEREAS, RICHARD A. CLARKE was employed as the Coach of the Magnolia Academy Baseball Team in 1977; and

WHEREAS, the baseball team was in a fledgling state; and

WHEREAS, RICHARD A. CLARKE, through his dedication to a standard of excellence and ability, instilled in the baseball players the skills of playing baseball and good sportsmanship conduct; and

WHEREAS, RICHARD A. CLARKE, through his leadership and ability, has inspired the Student Body of Magnolia Academy; and

WHEREAS, as a result of his dedication to Magnolia Academy and its baseball team, Magnolia Academy and its baseball team, Magnolia Academy has, through competition, been named as the Mississippi State Champions in AA Competition for the year 1979.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that RICHARD A. CLARKE be and is hereby commended by the Board of Directors of Magnolia Academy for his outstanding leadership and dedication to Magnolia Academy and Magnolia Academy’s Baseball Team.
