Brought some treasures that nobody ever sees to the Hinds First Pitch Dinner with speaker Christian Ostrander.
The History-Making 1989 Hinds Eagles tribute makes it’s debut tonight and will be in a prominent spot at Joe G. Moss Field this spring.
The conversational format was great and Coach Ostrander was outstanding. Awesome baseball conversation. I loved it.
Here’s some legendary Mississippi baseball names in his path: Terry Thompson, Boo Ferris, Bill Marchant, Mike Kinnison, Rodney Batts, Scott Berry. Mentioned other great USM legacies of Pete Taylor, Hill Denson and Corky Palmer. Just great stuff!
Great job by Head Coach Dan Rives and Athletic Director Nathan Werremeyer for making this happen.
And they will only get better in the future.
