Josh sent me this photo of the Olympic Torch at USA Stadium in Memphis while they were playing yesterday. In 1999 Curtis Jones hit an opposite field home run into that torch in the Division II World Series opener. (of course it’s been relocated)
Scott Fortenberry (’99, Always an Eagle) and I were just talking about this yesterday when I saw him at Chick fil a.
