Instructions for First Time Set-up of Teams:
- Go to: https://secure.fundeasy.com/ministrysync/event/website/home/?e=29056
- Click on Participate button.
- Click on Register as Walker.
- Under Walker Information: Captain’s first name in First Name box. If your wife or husband are co-captains, do it like this: Your first name & spouses first name; Rick & Patty, for example). In last name box, put Captain’s last name followed in parentheses, (Team “your last name” – MHBC). Example: Clarke (Team CLARKE -MHBC) Note: Last name and MHBD in all caps.
- Enter other requested information.
- Under Church Attending: Select – Morrison Heights Baptist Church.
- Under My Team Is: Select – Morrison Heights. (this will automatically add your team to the Morrison Heights team. When people “give” on your page, your team information will be updated on your page and the Morrison Heights page with updated “Team Raised” amount and “Team Rank.” Your team page is actually listed as a Walker Page and will be totaled and ranked under “Top Walkers.”
- Click on Continue and finish up the registration. Save it.
- Add a Welcome Message to your page and under update, copy and paste the game plan for the team. (from Team Clarke page; https://page.fundeasy.com/7135040)
- Start building your team by making the first “generous” donation.
- Each Team Captain will make sure that their team raises at least $1000. 10 teams, each with a minimal amount of $1000 adds up to $10,000 which will be matched by a generous donor from MHBC. $10,000 becomes $20,000 plus the efforts of all other team members that continue to pass the torch and replicate until the Life Walk event on May 3rd. Try to get some “generous” donations on that front line who will “pass the torch.”
- Everything is now set-up. Now start building your team by sending them to the Life Walk 2025 “Get Started” link at rickclarke.com. That link will send them to this webpage to tell them what we are doing and exactly how to do it and also where they can simply click on your team link.
- Captains and Co-Captains will solicit multiple team members who will “give and get.”
- Let’s run this race to win for the sanctity of life and put up some stupid numbers. 🙂
Our Initial Goal:
To raise $10,000 and get the $10,000 matching gift! That’s $20,000!
Our Overall Goal:
Whatever the total of $$$ is raised by our 10 teams in a the 40 or so days until the event. Work hard, give generously, pass the baton, replicate quickly and keep the line moving every day. Let’s put up some crazy numbers of both participants (walkers) and $$$$$!
