The Inaugural Induction Ceremony for the Hinds Baseball Hall of Fame will celebrate the legacy of “The Boys of ’73,”The Originals” on the 50th anniversary of the reinstatement of the baseball program at Hinds.
April 15, 2023 – Pregame ceremony before the Mississippi Delta – Hinds game at Joe G. Moss Field at 1:30 pm.
Inductees: Coach Danny Neely, Powell Taylor (Bus Driver and first base coach; posthumously), Bobby Barrett*, Doug Branning (posthumously), LeRoy Brown (posthumously), Ray Burroughs, Rick Clarke*, Doug Cockrell, Don Flowers, Roy Higdon, Leonard Knowles (posthumously), Stirling Madden, Butch Newman, Eddie Ramsey, Bill Sanders (posthumously). Always Eagles.
