[What it is. What it does. Features. Resources. Next steps. More.]

The Gospel Truth App is a unique and yes, God inspired way to share the Gospel truth, the Good News of Jesus Christ, through everyone’s most personal channel… their mobile phone. Everybody’s got one and use their phone religiously… so to speak, both day and night. It is the convenient and foremost means of 21st century communication.

The ministry is based on Philippians 1:18, paraphrasing the Apostle Paul who said: “The most important thing is that in ‘every’ way… Christ is proclaimed.” We believe that using mobile technology to share the Gospel message in the 21st century is one of those “every ways” to connect the message of redemption and salvation to the lost, those who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

It shares God’s plan of redemption with Bible based truths to prepare minds and hearts to be used by the Holy Spirit so that “whosoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21 KJV)

One of the Gospel Truths is that you can’t “save” yourself. Because of the sin of Adam, we are all born into sin and separated from God. His wrath requires a rightful justice and that justice is death and eternal punishment in hell. Somebody has to die to pay the price for sin. We are all born “lost” and traveling on the broad road to the wide gate which leads to destruction.

But God…

In the greatest expression of love ever displayed in the history of the world, God, the creator of the Heavens and the Earth, the Uncaused First Cause of the Universe, who is eternal and existed before anything else existed, the one true God, and the only living God, so loved a world full of people who did not and do not deserve His love in any way, that He did what no man or no other “god” could do or would do if he could, He, God, through His Son Jesus, was tormented and died on a cross so that those who accept His grace through faith in Christ would not have to die and be tormented. Justice has been served, one-for-all. The penalty for sin has been paid in full and Jesus paid it for you and me and He did it for only one reason… LOVE!

Salvation was purposed by the divine and perfect plan of God the Father, accomplished by Jesus Christ the Son through His death and resurrection and is applied by His Holy Spirit who transforms you through a spiritual rebirth (you must be “born again”) as a new creation in Christ with a new heart filled with His spirit, a new way of thinking, a new attitude, a new character and a new way of living your life, both here and for eternity in the presence of the God. Your old sinful nature no longer exists. That sin diseased heart has been discarded. It is no longer “you” who exists, but Christ “in you.” Your identity is finally made complete and you are no longer identified by “who” you are but by “whose” you are in Christ.

There is simply no solution for the human condition of sin but through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There must be a sense of urgency for people to come to Christ.

Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things, because they are eternal], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:2-4 AMP

There are two crucial goals for this app:

1) To present the truth of the Good News of Jesus Christ in a simple, consistent and powerful way, which is presented in the exact same way over and over to every person each and every time it is presented, no matter how many times it takes. It is available only when you want it, but especially when you need it. All the information is cloud-based so everyone has access to it any time they choose, 24-7-365(6).

2) To use the app as a digital Gospel sharing hub where the Good News can be shared peer-to-peer, exponentially, in a variety of ways: text, email, simple, easy-to-remember web link (URL), QR code and just about every form of social media, all with just one click.

The goal is for the app to become an exponential digital Gospel planter. For example, if each person shared it with just three others and they each did the same, one becomes 3, 9, 27, 81, 243, 729, 2187, 6561, 19,683, 59,049, 177,147, etc. and as long as people keep sharing, the sharing never ends.

If the app only leads just one person to faith in Christ, it will be well worth the effort. But the other great thing about the sharing process is it only takes “a spark to get a fire going.” A few who share with a few who share with a few more will lead to great growth. That’s why we want those who are already Christians to participate and become a part of what we pray will eventually be a massive ongoing digital “evangelism team.

Phase one will be in English and Spanish and then we’ll go where God leads from there.

The app will include a host of great “clickable” resources, including a Bible app for your phone and “next steps” for new believers.

The Gospel Truth App is free and will be available as an app-like web application where you don’t have to download an app, but can also downloaded at both the Apple and Google app stores.

Get connected and pass it on!

What is the The Gospel Truth? The word Gospel means “good news.” The Gospel we are referring to is the Good News of Jesus Christ. Truth is something that is unquestionable, absolute and indisputable.

When Jesus said “I am the Truth”… He was saying He is the divine incarnate Word of God, truly God and truly man, the source of all Truth which is absolute and indisputable. He is the Truth and sinful man can’t handle the Truth and doesn’t want to hear it.

Truth is the divine word of God whose very nature is Truth. He is the definition of Truth. Truth is only what God says it is. Everything else is a lie. Many things are true, but there is only one Truth. It originates with God who is the originator and builder of all things and His Truth, THE truth is revealed in the Good News of Jesus Christ. God’s truth is fact and realty. It is absolute, infallible and indisputable. It is the Truth that the world needs now, it is the whole Truth, it is the Gospel Truth and it is the Truth that will set you free.

But God…

In the greatest expression of love ever displayed in the history of the world, God, THE God, the creator of the Heavens and the Earth, the Uncaused First Cause of the Universe and all that is in it, who is eternal and existed before anything else existed, the one true God, and the only living God, so loved a world full of people who did not and do not deserve His love in any way, He demonstrated His love by doing what no man or no other “god” could do or would do if he could… He, God, through His Son Jesus, was tormented and died on a cross so that those who accept His grace through faith in Christ would not have to die and be tormented. Jesus died for the forgiveness of your sins and on the third day He walked out of that tomb so that you might have eternal life in Heaven which is the nature of God. Justice has been served, once-for-all. The penalty for sin and death has been paid in full and Jesus paid it for you and me and He did it for only one reason… LOVE!

God gave his Son to die for us, that is for people like us who the Apostle Paul describes as sinners, ungodly, enemies and powerless. (Romans 5:6-10) Who dies for unrighteous man? God dies for his enemies. He gave it all for those who deserved nothing. And that is God’s own proof of his love for us.

Salvation was purposed by the divine and perfect plan of God the Father, accomplished by Jesus Christ the Son through His death and resurrection and is applied by His Holy Spirit who transforms you through a spiritual rebirth (“born again”) as a new creation in Christ with a new heart filled with His spirit, a new way of thinking, a new attitude, a new character and a new way of living your life, both here and for eternity in the presence of the God. Your old sinful nature no longer exists. That sin diseased heart has been discarded. It is no longer “you” who exists, but Christ “in you.” Your identity is finally made complete and you are no longer identified by “who” you are but by “whose” you are in Christ

In Mark 1:15 Jesus commanded, “repent and believe in the gospel.” But what is the true gospel?

The true gospel (the Gospel Truth) is the message Jesus taught. The word “gospel” is an old English word meaning “good news.” This good news about Jesus is expressed in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” The gospel truth is the good news of Jesus Christ. God loved you so much that before you were even born Christ died for your sins.

Forgiveness of sins, the righteousness of God, born again, a new creation in Christ, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and eternal life in Heaven.

The user types in name and clicks on state/country drop down list. Pushes the I’m Save Button. Names scroll continuously at the bottom of the home page with a US National debt clock-like running total that increases every time somebody presses the I’m Saved button.
