The Gospel Truth App is a unique and yes, God inspired way to share the absolute and indisputable Truth about the Good News of Jesus Christ, through everyone’s most personal channel… their mobile phone. Everybody’s got one and they use it religiously… so to speak, both day and night. It is the convenient means of 21st century communication.
It is designed only to bring Glory to God!
The ministry is based on Philippians 1:18, paraphrasing the Apostle Paul who said: “The most important thing is that in ‘every’ way… Christ is proclaimed.” We believe that using mobile technology to share the Gospel message in the 21st century is one of those “every ways” to connect the message of redemption and salvation to the lost, those who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord… and there are many.
It shares God’s plan of redemption with Bible base Truths to prepare minds and hearts to be used by the Holy Spirit so that “whosoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21 KJV)
The goals for this app are:
- To share the gospel with as many people as possible and bring Glory to God!
2. To present the Good News of Jesus Christ in a simple, consistent and powerful way, presented in the exact same way over and over to every person each and every time, no matter how many times it takes.
It is available only when you want it, but especially when you need it. In a world filled with endless lies, deception and confusion about Jesus, we’ll present the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth, the Gospel Truth that will set you free. We will walk you through all the steps of salvation. All the information is cloud-based so everyone has access to it any time they choose, 24-7-365(6).
3. To use the app as a digital gospel sharing hub where the Good News can be shared peer-to-peer, exponentially, in a variety of ways: text, email, web link (URL) thegospeltruthapp.com, QR code and just about every form of social media, with just one click.
The goal is for the app to become an exponential digital Gospel planter. For example, if each person shared it with just three others and they each did the same, one becomes 3, 9, 27, 81, 243, 729, 2187, 6561, 19,683, 59,049, 177,147, etc. It even works with one person passing it on to just one more person and as long as people keep sharing, the sharing never ends.
The plan is not to replace the face-to-face gospel presentation, but to strengthen it, to learn God’s plan of salvation and to increase the boldness to share both digitally and in person, as well as being able to share it with more numbers than you will probably ever share with in person. Peer-to-peer sharing; people you know, who know you.
The app will include a host of great “clickable” sanctification resources, including a free Bible App for your phone and “Next Steps” for new believers.
If the app only leads just one person to faith in Christ, it will be well worth the effort. But the other great thing about the sharing process is it only takes “a spark to get a fire going.” A few who share with a few who share with a few more will lead to great growth. That’s why we want those who are already Christians to participate and become a part of what we pray will eventually be a massive ongoing “digital evangelism team.”
It is free and will be available as an app-like web application which does not need to be downloaded with The Gospel Truth icon saved to the home screen of your phone and it can also be downloaded at the Apple and Google app stores.
Phase one will be in English and Spanish and then we’ll go where God leads from there.
So the purpose of The Gospel Truth App is to share the absolute and indisputable Truth about the Good News of Jesus Christ.
And do not be ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation from His wrath and rightful judgment to everyone who believes by faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (adapted from Romans 1:16)
