Life Walk 2025 Using “Team Concepts” for the CPC, Metro Area

(2 minute read; 28 second video)

Welcome to those who are joining a team! Our 10 teams originating in the Saint Sing Life Group within the Morrison Heights Baptist Church team, are raising funds, using team concepts, for the Center for Pregnancy Choices, Metro Area in their Life Walk 2025 fundraising event.

Our game plan is built around two words: “Give” and “Get”… each team member “gives” a generous donation (at least $100, but more if you can) and then “gets” just one other person who will do the same; replicating the “give and get” game plan.

Let’s use the analogy of a relay race to explain the concept. There are 10 teams running in 10 lanes with the captain of each team leading the way, getting set in the starting blocks with the baton in hand. When the starting pistol is fired, the task of the captain is simply to “give” a generous donation to the CPC ministry and then quickly passes the baton off to the next “runner” who will do the same… “gives” a generous donation (of at least $100, but more if they can) and passes the baton to the next runner and this procedure is replicated over and over until the day of the Life Walk (May 3rd).

The goal is to have a lot of participants on each of the 10 teams, each generously giving (at least $100 or more) and raising a whole bunch of money for the CPC, Metro Area. The amount raised by all teams is our grand total and the CPC is the winner.

“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

Go to the CPC website for more information and opportunities of how you can help. https://cpcmetro.org/

They really need our help and we can help in a big way, with a lot of people, each doing their small part.

Let’s get started!

Here are some simple instructions of how to “give and get” in just minutes using your mobile phone. Read the instructions first before clicking on the link.

  1. Go to: https://secure.fundeasy.com/ministrysync/event/website/home/?e=29056
  2. Click on the Give button.
  3. Select a Select a Walker.
  4. Search for your team (Find a Walker): Team SAINT SING, Team CLARKE, (list the other 8 teams)
  5. Click on your team.
  6. Click on the Give button.
  7. Follow the instructions and make a “generous” secure donation (at least $100 or more if you can).
  8. After you “give,” simply pass the baton to just one other “like-hearted” person who will do the same.  Replication is the key to the success of this fundraising campaign. It’s not just a captain trying to finds dozens of donors, but a lot of people each finding just one; using team concepts. Seek out a person you know who will follow-through and help build the team. You just need one.
  9. Have all your new team members begin at rickclarke.com and click on the blue “Get Started” link. Let them know what we are trying to do before sending them to the site. You can even walk them through the entire process either in person or by phone.

The success of the project will be based on two things: How many total participants (team members) we have on each of our 10 teams and how much money these teams can collectively produce in the 40 or so days before the event.

Now, go knock one out of the park!

God bless! (John 3:16)
